My Favorite Nail Color For June 2011

Warning: This nail polish color is so summery and laid-back it might prevent you from getting any work done. Instead, you'll just sit there gazing at your fingertips on your keyboard and dreaming about wide blue skies and crashing waves

June's nail polish color of the month is a new color called Essie Absolutely Shore, a super-pale sea foam green.

This color is so fresh and light and summery, it definitely belongs on the beach. A chic beach. I keep thinking of the Hamptons when I gaze at my nails, even though I have never actually been to the Hamptons (although I am going next month--maybe I'll road-test this mani-pedi again then). These nails just beg to be accompanied by a cabana-striped beach towel and wide-brimmed straw hat. Don't you think? One tip: With a pastel like this, it's always best to apply three coats to avoid streakiness! What do you ladies think of this month's nail polish pick? Do you like pastel nails?
