Oh, Look--Another Jem-Dress-Colored Nail Look!

When I say "Jem-dress-colored," I mean holographic coppery-pink the color of the dress my Jem and the Holograms doll wore when I was a little girl. It's a color that keeps popping up on celebrity nails..

First on Julia Roberts, and now on Selena Gomez at the launch of the new show Disney Soundbite:

Selena's are a touch darker than Julia's were and there appears to be some sort of pattern on them, but they're very similar, and very much like Jem's dress. If you weren't quite as cool as I was and didn't have the doll (or, uh, you weren't born yet), here's a doll I spotted on Ebay for comparison. See?

That's is why I'm going to refer to the shade as "Jem" from now on. Get on board, people. Anyway, it's a holographic delight, and I'm assuming it was done with overlays like Minx. But the last time I posted a color like this, a lot of you raved about Essie's Buy Me a Cameo, so I would imagine it would get you a similar look. What do you think of these Jem nails, gang?
